Telehealth may be particularly appealing for:
Busy professionals unable to leave the office for in person appointments
College students who move out of state during the academic year
Frequent travelers
Individuals outside of Indiana who want expert therapy and freedom to choose their therapist based on fit

Research has consistently shown that virtual therapy can be highly effective for concerns such as anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, perfectionism, and emotional overwhelm. Many clients find online therapy to be convenient, comfortable, and easier to fit into busy schedules while still allowing for meaningful connection and therapeutic progress.
Many clients are surprised by how natural and emotionally connected virtual therapy can feel. Online sessions still provide space for meaningful conversation, emotional support, insight, and therapeutic growth while offering added flexibility and convenience.
Generally, there is no difference between in-person therapy and virtual therapy other than the location of the client. Virtual therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy and often the decision to choose telehealth is personal perference or simply works better for some lifestyles.
There are some advantages to telehealth:
Saves time for busy individuals not having to travel to/from appointments
Allows working individuals to schedule midday appointments over breaks or lunch hour
Prevents disruptions in therapy due to traveling
Provides more options for people who live in rural areas or do not have access to local therapist that fits their needs
Offers extra level of confidentiality in the comfort of your home or office
